    I really dislike those retractable leashes. They are dangerous; not just my opinion, either. If you do a search on "danger + retractable leash" you will learn about amputations, blindness and even death.
    I am so glad your dog was okay. Bless that woman for being alert and saving your dog.

    I always locked the leash when my dog was on it. I only allowed "free reign" to a certain point.
    Thank goodness the lady acted quickly.

    I was afraid to read this post, cause I thought it had to be bad. I cannot imagine that happening and the horror you felt. I am so glad it had a happy ending and your fur baby is okay. Thank God for angels who walk among us.
