Last night we visited one of the casino in town to eat at the buffet. My husband parks out in the far area after letting me off at the door and then I sit and wait when we are finished for him to come and pick me up. (I have an injury to the fascia and nerves in my leg). I layed my cigarette case on the bench where I was sitting. It was a Christmas present and I love it! It is bright pink and holds two lighters. I forgot it! I was sick and angry with myself. Today we went back to the casino to see if anyone had turned it in.
YEAH! Not only the case but the cigarettes and lighters and the dollar bill that was in it also.
There are good people out there!!!!

So great. A few years ago, my husband lost his wallet in mesquite, tx during a road trip. When we got home, there was a message on our answering machine, from the man who found it. He actually took time to search for marc and contact us. Then, he mailed it to us and did not accept a reward, or even reimbursement of postage. He was truly a good, christian man...good values

It's always nice to know there are decent people "out there".

I once lost my wallet with my pay check in it, with my signature on the back (I was going to cash it at one of those cash your check places, until I realized they were going to take 25%). I had opend my car door in an intersection because my seat belt was caught in the door and somehow the wallet had fallen out. In another state.
I was so upset because it held all my cash and that big paycheck and nothing with my address. A few weeks later, I got a call from my local bank. Someone had picked it up and mailed it to my bank. They only took $5.00 out to pay for shipping.
I was so amazed. I don't know how they found my bank.
There are good people in the world.

Nice to hear. There are good people out there even if we are met, unfortunately, more often with the insensitive people. Thanks for sharing a positive outcome.
