My grandchildren love to play monopoly - (old game) because they can handle the money and learn the value of the properties etc. I think they got tired of the handheld games....which we've stopped buying....batteries will break the bank.
They go outside and make mudpies, plant flowers, jump on the tramp, pick vegetables in the garden, play fetch with the dog, go swimming or just go for a walk. We rarely turn on the tv anymore. Their latest and greatest indoor games when it's raining are hide and seek and charades, play-doh, painting, rummy, go fish and dancing to the music on the local info channel on the tv. Who needs electronics anymore!!!
They also love to help cook and clean!!!

That's carrying political correctness a little too far...or maybe a LOT too far.
