katrine, what can I say???
My DH was in here a few minutes ago and he agreed with me that they are all gorgeous.
The fuschia...I just couldn't hardly tear myself away from it. It's so exquisite!
I could just smell them all too...ahhh - choo

Thank you so much everyone - Peter is thrilled with all your comments. He said he will make an extra effort for you all this summer!
A couple of you mentioned the scents - fuchsias dont have any - but early mornings/late evenings with dew, or after a very light shower, there is the most lovely perfume comes off everything else.
The other thing is the variety of bees, butterflies and moths we get to see close up, including some quite rare ones, such as Elephant Hawk Moth. We have found their huge caterpillars in the fuchsias and remove them to a fuchsia we dont mind surrendering, as they will strip a plant in hours. So we get to be wildlife guardians as well!

You 2 are THAT close?
Have you met up? That would be SOOOO cool!
Dang! 2 places to stay.....I could get pampered 2 times in France! WOOHOO!!! Break out the wine!!
Katrine...you just tell your hubby to keep up the good work. Those flowers are amazing! I know what it's like to see different insects on the plants, even ones you don't want, but are still beautiful. In Hawaii, I had 2 Hummingbird Moths that would frequent my little flower garden I had. They were just so beautiful as I had never seen or heard of them before.
Your hubby definitely has a green thumb going. I cannot wait until I FINALLY get my OWN house so I can have my gardens, be it veggie or flowers, but will DEFINITELY have some beautiful flowers. Probably not as nice as you have, but I can dream......
