My husband

Oh, Barb, I'm so sorry but so thankful you are both home and trying to get the right things done for your health. I know the turmoil and torment you are in right now, all to well. It WILL pass and you WILL be the better for it.
The fear you had, the stress of the angio, then the fear when he was still in hospital has made you both a little tense and add the nicotine withdrawal..........whooeee, if sniping is all that's happening you are in the gravy.
Big big hugs!

Heartfelt HUGS, Barb!
I am so glad your DH is home safe and sound and congratulations are in order for his and your decision to quit smoking. My Mom quit cold turkey too (after also getting very sick) and it worked for her. She had smoked for 40 years or so....... (2 1/2 packs a day!) She chewed that nicotine gum for awhile and that seemed to help. I was so proud of her for quitting.

Talk about catching something in the nick of time! You don't even want to imagine what might have happened had you two not made that first trip.
Those are some pretty major life changes happening around your house right now. More power to the two of you.

Hi Barb. Hope your DH is continuing to recover. It's really scary, I know. Mine had a heart attack (stess related) at 55 and took early retirement. He's stuck to his diet, lost 70 pounds, and is much healthier. The snapping at each other is probably from both of you quitting smoking. Just be patient with each other and give each other space. You'll be okay. Take care. Hugs to you both! BJ

Prayers going up for you and your husband. Both of you quitting smoking (CONGRATS!) and the ordeal you just went through with his heart - one is enough to cause you to snap at each other. Both make it doubly hard. Good luck and God bless.

Oh Barb
I am sorry about your problems. Thank God he got to the hospital before it was too late!! Of coarse you are both under a lot of stress right now. It will get better . You both had a scare and a life style change is always stressful, even if it's for good reasons. Keep your chin up, it will get better....
