    Me either, i crochet a little. but i do make tiny blankets out of flannel for the hospital. the smallest they take is 12 x 12.

    that is very noble of you. I belong to a group in Contra Costa County, called Peek-a-boo Hat Club. we make bonnets & baby hats & bring them to the volunteers at our hospital, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, for distribution to indigent babies. Our hospital averages 190 births per month, so that is a lot of hats, because our hospital is a disproportionate share facility, meaning we serve a majority of indigent patients. Some supllies are also donated & it's fun to crochet using various yarn weights.

    Wow! 190 a month! I just love getting together with a group of women to do our thing together..friendly people working together for the greater good...

    I have gotten free knitting patterns for baby caps off of the internet. Just google free knitting patterns and you will find some.

    I'm an RN and worked Labor and Delivery for 23 years. When a birth doesn't have a happy ending it was always nice to be able to dress the babies in pretty handmade hats, gowns and blankets for pictures and to send home with the parents as part of a bereavement package. Thank you for your generous gift to others.
