My morning visitors

Went to let the dogs out this morning and saw a flash of yellow. Ran to get my bird book and my glasses :-) 2 hooded orioles! I had a Bullocks oriole a couple of years ago.

I also had about 8-10 hummingbirds buzzing around the feeders.

I had one around for a few days but I guess his GPS got fixed and he's gone:) Loved watching him at my sewing room window at the hummingbird feeder:)

I love to watch the wildlife also. And listen to all the wonderful bird calls. So do my kitties. It is so peaceful.

thank you...You maybe won't believe this...but, we had one of these birds here in Chicago, last fall...
that must have been one very lost bird...I was trying to figure out what it was, but nothing popped up as it being local.

It was chirping a bit. The tree is a juniper. It is right next to our deck where the doghouse is. We usually have juniper titmouse's, scrub jays, and even a few cedar waxwings coming to the water and the dogs just lay there. :-)
