I hope all my buds will open this year. I have a climbing one that is outside my kitchen window just full of buds, but it froze night before last. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Beautiful one, Joan, you almost make me want to move to Texas!

The roses are beautiful, and I am sure the smell is just as nice. What a great idea to transplant your mothers beloved flowers. My mom is 89 and still has a beautiful rose garden. I think I will do the same when my mother passes away in reminberance of her. Thanks for the idea.

I love roses, not a lot of patience growing things anymore. Good for you.

Your roses are beautiful. I am so ready for Spring. We had snow on the ground this morning here in St. Louis.

Yellow roses were my mom's favourite too. I enjoyed looking at you beautiful flowers as our gardens are still under snow.
