My new Buddy!!

We have had out rescue kitty for almost 18 years. Tink came to us when my daughter was a freshman in high school. Then came college and the cat stayed withus. Her husband is allergic to cats, so it is impossible for her to leave us. She is est friends with our black lab; she scolds him frequently.
Poor thing is really showing her age, now and we keep telling the lab to take care of and be gentle with the old lady.

Love your kitty, we live and work at a homeless shelter so we can't have pets. boo hoo. She reminds me of a pair of kittens we rescued, my daughter named them Slash and Axle after the Guns and Roses group.

Congratulations on the new furry addition to your household! She looks like a real sweety.
Too funny on your name choice I also had a little shelter girl I named Ripley, also after the character in Alien. She had a little hernia on her belly and every once in a while (until we had it surgically corrected when she got spayed) it would pop out and she got a little bulge on her belly under the skin. I could pop it back in with my finger. All we could think of was the alien popping out of the guys chest in the movie so she got named Ripley.

I just named a dog today looks like a cross between a schnauzer and a basset hound. His name was Chuck. Nothing else fit. Not even a name I like.
