    LOL I guess we are getting old when the generations younger than us don't know what a 'rotary phone' is! I still have my grandmothers & that phone must have weighed 10 pounds! I have it on a night stand next to the bed, hope no one thinks it still works & tries to use it!

    Don't feel bad we all are aging, all nature......I have a French Provincial one in my room I had when I was 16+ to match the furniture. I don't miss the dialing rotary though. Remember when you left the phone off hook by mistake and there was this ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sound instead of the fast busy signal that sounded like a lady going ahahahahahahah. Used to scare me when I was younger. LOL
