My quilter friend and neighbor died...

So sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard to lose a friend.
Is her daughter near, that you can possibly share the good memories of your friend with her? It may help both of you to be able to talk.
My prayers are with you.

She brought over kitty's sewing machine for me yesterday. She said she thought her mom would want me to have it. (I am paying for it) I feel a little odd that happened so quickly. But, her daughter is packing up her house already because she lives a couple hours from here and works. So, she left last night.
I was able to give her the security codes to arm the alarm on the house. She didn't have them, so I am glad I could help her a little.

Thank you all for your sweet sympathies. I just had to talk to someone this morning.
The last thing we said to each other as she left my home walking away down my front walk way was ... "I love you kitty and she said I love you too sandy."

We had a family member go from a massive heart attack like that, and it is a real shock, when they are what we think of 'as too young'.
I'm so sorry her DD is without both of her parents now, and you are without your good friend. We all love you too.
