Hell in a handbasket for sure. Many are now self centered and mannerless.
They would never be welcomed to my home again. I would also take pics and file a complaint in small claims court if they didn't reimburse the damage. I am not in a popularity contest for friends like that nor a doormat!!

Put the quilt together...which one did the most damage? Then, go over to her??? with the quilt wrapped..make it a smaller one, with scraps, you know, just a thrown together quilt. Give it to her and have her unwrap it. TELL her, this is the quilt that you damaged so badly that you worked very hard to selvage from your hard work, and decided the best person to give it to was YOU...IF you have the where with all to do this. But as my husband says, stay out of it,but how does anyone ever learn if no one says anything? We know kids are running wild so who helps them? Maybe offer to teach HER to sew..I just don't know the solution and i definitely don't have the answers. It just saddens me.

I don't want locks on my doors. And I don't want anyone in my home that does not show respect for my possessions.
I certainly don't want anyone there who is disrespectful to me. Please, Annie, don't let them back in your home! What the "mother" did is inexcusable!!!!
