One of my best friends from work is having her 2nd baby tommorrow (by planned C-section), so he/she will be a New Year's Eve baby! We're all so excited!

My grandson Xavier was born Dec. 31 , He'll be a year old tomorrow. I had a good laugh a couple of days ago with his other Grandmother who said to me. No one can understand how much I love him. With a smile, I answered I guess I have a hint!

My oldest daughter will be 30 (oh no!) on New Year's Day. Went into labor shortly after midnight and she was born around 9 am. When Lisa was little she thought the Rose Parade on TV was for her birthday.
One year when she was in college one of her friends would call her every hour to wish her happy birthday as the New Year came in to different countries!

My cousin's wife and I were pregnant at the same time, both due on Dec. 31. My daughter decided to make an early appearance and was born on Dec. 11, but her son (like most men) procrastinated and was actually born on his due date. My cousin was so happy to get that tax deduction.

While awaiting the birth of my 4th child about 5:30pm on New Year's eve 1966, the Dr. came in and said,"Well, shall we go for the New Year gifts, or the deduction?" My husband & I both spoke up "The deduction" which in that day was $600. I believe.
We got that and our only son. I remember waking up back in my room after midnight and hearing someone outside hollering "Happy New Year!"
