Re the "Redneck Swimming Pool". I used to work for a large lawfirm and we were going to have our office party/baseball game at the local park. They asked for a couple of volunteers with pick up trucks. I volunteered and that's when I found out that a toyota pickup bed, a good 12 foot tarp, and 20 or more bags of ice make a great beer cooler.

Yes I talk like that.
Yes I learnt how to drive on a tractor.
Dh and I got stuck in LA (lower Alabama) and there was a couple good ole boys in a 4 wheel drive with a washtub of beer in the back pulled us out of the ditch.
I have stopped and helped many a man fix his car and given them a lift home when we could not fix it.(out of gas)
And make no mistake: Ya'll come back now, He-ah! really means "Gosh we're glad you're a leaven."

I had a manager at the local Wally World that always said "fitin to" and we are in Oklahoma. Oh, we loved those 'ROC co-colas". LOL But Quilters can always understand each other. Right??

All dark carbonated beverages are called coke, regardless of the brand, with the exception of an RC!
This is true....

LOL

I so miss the south. My hubby laughs re: ya'll and coke. Good thing is we are dedicated to raising our kids like southern kids!
