While I'd like to take the credit, I don't believe it was moi! Though I might be worried that Scrappy might live up to his name!! :)

I have been thinking about Treadle as a possibility .... and wonder whatever happened to Bear? (Bear Paw Quilt?)

Oh the FUN you are going to have this summer!! BTW your cat is already looking NOT amused at the thought of a dog in her life! :)

What a wonderful bartering story! Man, I love goldens too. Have not owned one, but babysat a friend's many times. Sweet, smart, loving, eager-to-please, funny, enthused... Lucky you!

I bet you can hardly wait to have him home. Goldens are just the most fabulous dogs. We still miss our 'Boots' even though it's quite a number years since he died. All dogs are special, but Goldens just seem to have that something extra.

Since your trading your quilting for the puppy you might consider Trayden (Trade-in). :-) Threads would be a different name. We had a dog that chased his tail in circles, we called him Rounder. If your puppy bobs a lot you could call him Bobbin. :D Winner would work too. I'm sure you will come up with something cute.

Oh some good names there .... in the same vwein, "Barter" could be very appropriate.!!
