Do you really think I have ever stood still long enough for him to put an ax handle to my tush?
but guessing with my tiny hiny, it would be width of the handle...say two inches...so, maybe five of those= 10" wide.
    ~tiny.
me and gbaby say tiny hiny-hiny.
She did inform me one day that mine was not tiny,
and I quickly reminded her that granddaddy's is bigger.
Didn't want her thinking mine was the biggest of the bunch.
Her mama weighs 109 lbs. and her daddy is 5'2 1/2 inches tall.
Land of little over there.

I just read this whole thread all of the way through   I had to stop and wipe off sputtered coffee from myself, monitor, keyboard and desk    I even irrigated my sinus with coffee twice   (I do NOT recommend coffee as a sinus flush unless you use A LOT of cream)  Am currently holding my sore stomach, still chuckling through the pain and drippy nose :D :D :D

Soooo basically what you are saying here is you all have beautiful gardens...marigold dancing for money is THE way to maintain and grow a fabric stash...armadillo is the new 5th food group...AND geraniums and para-whatcha-ma-call-its are the same, not the same, same, not the same (blame quiltncrazy for that last one...she kept poking me with that loooong handled spoon so I grabbed it....and the only thing I know to do with it is STIR)    :P :P
