Maybe you could plan a small reception in the near future. Bake a cake and toast the couple.
I can understand. My only son eloped. I knew it was happening and was really sad that we weren't included. So, I made a quilt, invited the immediate family and we had a nice time.

I would see if I could go to the wedding, then go pick up dad. I would explain to the hospital you cant make it until late afternoon. Congratulations and good luck.

Is your dad at Munson? I am thinking that you could surprise your son, and show up at at 2:00 wedding, and still be to the hospital by 4:00....Good luck whatever you choose to do.

Just let the hospital know you will be a little late picking up your dad. He will be charged for the day anyway and at least you know your dad is in a safe place. Go to the wedding. You can do both.

I think I would plan to go to the wedding....I think your Dad might be upset with you missing the wedding, just to pick him up. He will wait for you to get there...if the hospital knows what the reason is for your delay...they will understand.
