Found this book (Cream Puff Murder by Joanne Fluke) at Costco. I started reading it shortly after midnight. The main character Hannah Swensen has a bakery and coffee shop called the Cookie Jar. Almost every chapter talks about baking or cooking. By 2:30 a.m. I had to raid the fridge! The recipes are CRAZY. We tried one "Don't Ask, Don't Tell!" Sorry, but I have to tell: it has sauerkraut in it! We tried it on the kids (did NOT tell!) and they loved it.
Ran back to Costco and bought the other 2 books they had. Then went to the used book store and found another!
    Happy Reading and Cooking!

You may not be that happy with me when you discover she has written 15 books! Support your local used book store.

I love that author, too. However, I've been making trips to Library. I've decided not to buy any more books; I use the money on my stash, lol.
