Well they're sure beautiful dogs.Here in Ky the coyotes are making a come back,also the black bear and bobcat.It might be wise to get one of these dogs.I used to live in a hollow back in the boonies,apparently they are having trouble with the local bear population.When I lived there all I had to worry about were the snakes.

They are beautiful! I have a 5 month old Great Pyr/Maremma female who we adore. She even keeps our golden away from the chickens, but is still trying to win over one of the tabby cats. DH is fencing in our meadow now, as he fully expects to come home from work one day and find I have bought Gracie some sheep to take care of! I wish I had her energy.
