My hubby's favorite beverage! He drinks it by the pot, and will drink the worst stuff and drinks it black. Me, just one cup a day with sugar a little cream.

Went out to eat the other night, hubby orders coffee. For the first time in nearly 40 years of knowing this man I saw him make a face when he took the first drink. I'm thinking this has to be the worst coffee in the world! So what does he do, ask me to taste it LOL! Like a dummy I did (gotta admit I was a little curious). Turns out it was a lovely cup of tea.

We like to grind fresh coffee every morning. I mix a lot of custom blends. Some are very interesting but all delicious. I went to a coffee tasting seminar years ago in CA. before Starbucks on every corner. Did you know most major brands use ground up pecan shells in the pre ground coffee as a filler? See the lighter color grounds in the can? Most of that is filler. It's cheaper to buy quality whole beans and grind them when needed. You use less. Coffee beans will keep for years on the shelf in an airtight container. Never in the freezer.

I fixed me up a cuppa in my keurig and it is so good. I need to get more of the k cups as I have been using Folgers in the little spare k cup thing that you can use your own coffee in and I don't like that as it is messy. But the joe is good any how and I can't get my day started with it the coffee. I like the chai latte's for keurig. mmmmmmmmmmmmm Looking forward to pay day so I can get some more. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
