That's how I weaned myself (and DH) from drinking the caffeine stuff. I'd buy a pound of each and mix them in a larger canister. Shake, shake, shake. After a while, I'd do a quarter pound to one pound of the decaf. Eventually I was weaned. We only drank the real stuff at work. Sometimes on Sunday we each had a headache from withdrawal, but eventually that ended. We use Folgers decaf now.

I am only allowed to have decaf because of blood pressure but find that Melitta is the best tasting brand. Also, I put about a teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a 6 cup pot. I put it in with the coffee when I start the brewing. Delicious and not overwhelming in taste - just a hint. Good for your bp too.

MAXWELL HOUSE COLOMBIAN ROAST is my coffee.

I am ready to pour #2 cup to enjoy with the newspaper.
