I love the smell of the coffee isle in the store. My mother did too but coffee would never touch her lips. I watched her go without anything to drink too many times because she didn't drink coffee and the water tasted funny. I decided at an early age that I was going to learn to drink coffee.

Yes I did, I work in a coffee area of HyVee and jjwhen we switched brands, we had a few customers who weren't pleased. It's amazing that people will adapt to fillers and cheaper ingrediants and when they are given the real 100% coffee bean again, it's like a shock to the system. That's one reason I only but coffee in the bean form, I want the real mccoy.

See the lighter color grounds in the can? Most of that is filler. It's cheaper to buy quality whole beans and grind them when needed. You use less. Coffee beans will keep for years on the shelf in an airtight container. Never in the freezer.

I found my topic was moved to the general chit chat area because it was a non quilting related topic. Sorry about that but I didn't realize it wasn't a quilting tool. I never turn on the machine without Giggles to everyone.

I once was looking for a quote for a quilt label and found one that is good for me. "You know you have had enough coffee when you can thread the needle with the machine still running." ROFLOL
