We have squirrels front and back yards, eating seeds the birds toss out of feeders, feeders are squirrel proof, otherwise they would eat out of them.

Not a treat to see them for us, everyday ocurrance around here.

They are cute to watch until you realize they are eating your deck. Yes, the deck. They have nearly gnawed through two of the major support poles holding up our roof and and done major damage to the railings. Needless to say, we don't think they are so cute anymore.

every day occurences here, too.. same with deer, and an elk occasionally in the yard.. It gets annoying when the deer decide to partake in our large veggie garden, and graciously leave us a little after they have finished feasting.. of course, whats left is not edible, but it was good they left half of everything last year, lol.. Here are some photos of my " deer " neighbors who come from next door - the mountain itself!

I miss the squirrels, they don't have any where I live.
Where I lived prior to this I use to feed them and they got so tame they would come up to the back door and scratch it. It was so cool.
