How about those quilted bowl holders for the microwave? You could use up scraps and sew them in batches.

How about bookmarks. Every night when they read they will think of you.
I have one from a friend that I treasure.

I like making tissue holders for a gift. do you have an embroidery machine, there are many things you can do on a towel in 25 mins. each. buy a premade insulated lunch bag and emb their monogram .

Or the little crocheted spool pins? They sit on your pin that holds the thread spool. Check on pinterest for these. So cute.

The tissue holders works up quickly. I also like the crocheted scrubbies. The little fabric boxes are quick and fun to make.

How about mug rugs? You could make them to fit each person's interests...

If I was going to get a small gift from someone in a creative group like that, I could probably make what they gave me. And I don't mean that to be mean, but what I would like is a personal note saying what they would remember about me as a friend. Perhaps I helped them with appliqué or brought a good appetizer for the group. Think about what makes each friend special, and create a note card for them with a special message. For the handful of special ladies, have them over for lunch and tell them how special they all are. At this point in my life, I don't need more "quick gifts", but I do love thank you notes!

I really like the note cards idea you. You can make each person a set of 6 that reflect them, cats for the cat lover, musical, dogs, tea cups, crafty, quilty, flowers , you get the idea then make a enough that reflect who you are to write your notes on when you give them out.
