I wear my baby soft thin hair real short and I love it, Hubby cuts it for me with electric hair clippers, we have worked out what clip ons to use and I wouldn't mind having it short. I hate to waste time getting a haircut. He cuts it whenever I want it cut.

Just remember if you don't really like it it will grow back and you are not the one stuck looking at it others are.

I look through the books at the salon and ask my hairdresser.

I'm in the same club. How to cut it, what will look good without looking dopey and all that. Then there's the price. Some sylists are outrageous! They get a lot of smoochies to cut hair these days!!! I'm with shaving my head....

Last Fall, I played with the idea of having long hair one more time. By the time it started to get hot and muggy in May, CHOP CHOP it all came off! Couldn't stand it on my neck. Plus, bless her _:-(_ my stylist says long hair tends to draw your features down when you get older.

However, I may not have the face for long hair but, this is for bkb, some women can really wear really long hair and look great! And, as you said, who cares? If you like it, go for it, girl!

Me too Sandy! I will let it go as long as possible between cuts just because I hate getting it cut, hate to sit in the chair with wet hair, hate people seeing me with wet hair, and perms are even worst!!!!

All my working years I had my hair permed. Now I am retired so I got brave and had hairdresser cut it short-real short. I just run some hair glue in it in the am and i am ready to go. Wish I had been brave enough to try this years ago,
Like others said "it will grow out" so be brave and try something you are thinking about. Have fun.
