maybe try cutting back on the sweetner and see if additional spices (no carbs) will give you additional flavor? :D:D:D

    Why do you ask?
My best advice? Two weeks without ketchup! Make foods you like that don't need to be adorned. Learn to enjoy the tastes of foods as they are, naked. Tomatoes are pretty high in carbs anyway, paste even more so, so I'd pass on any kind of ketchup for a little while. You can always bring it back later.

Welcome to Atkins, from an Atkid and diabetic.

6 oz. can tomato paste, 6 oz. water, 3 oz. red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp splenda, 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. salt
Maybe try 1 tbls spenda and add in 1/2 tsp of garlic powder too. OR is there carbs in these powders?
Splenda is much sweeter than sugar, I usually only use 1/2 of what they recommend to start out with.

I did find one but can't find it again , ugh !!!! maybe walmart. they all use to have diebetic sections but no more that I can find. thank you

The diatetic stuff all has sugar sub. in it. What do you want to use the catsup for? When I began reducing sugars (diabetic) I learned some interesting alternatives that I now prefer to catsup.

Another thought is to thin it down with water, beef up the seasonings. You would only have 1/2 the carbs if you used tomato sauce and thinned that down :D:D:D

I think you can also buy onion and garlic juice is tiny bottles to use instead of the powder
