The best name I've heard for a GPS was 'Wanda.'

We call our female Garmin GPS voice the B**** because she shows her "annoyance" when she has to recalculate the route because we didn't follow her directions. My girlfriend's Garmin has a male voice, so we call him the B******. (lol)

My Dad had a Maxima once and when the door was ajar or fuel was low, she would 'talk' to you in a very seductive voice. He named her Tokyo Rose.

My boss calls his "maxine" which is appropriate. I call my DH's phine Ramona after a really annoying lady. His phone tells you every 1/10 mile about the turn 3 miles ahead of you. Hate the Darn thing.

When I read about the color combination of silver and orange---which I would love---I thought immediately of the name "Esmerelda". Not sure why!
