Default A new lunch/grocery shopping experience

Daughter invited me to meet her at a relatively new store in area......called cosmopolitan.........and certainly was! Very sophisticated....black/ silver with lovely crystal lighted designs hanging from ceiling thruout the area....also a very chic niche again in black and silver eating area.....good menu, very reasonable and good tasting food.....so we had lunch then strolled thru the grocery section.........very subdued, quiet, not all straight rows...sort of like meandering thru a garden.....prices were lower than our local stores...even some things from Walmart/aldi.......I had FUN shopping for groceries......my final bill was a bit over $50, so was given a 5%disc. And since a first time shopper, a large plastic woven black/ turquoise tote was my gift from Cosmo!!!!!!!!i am really quite positively impressed with the employees politeness, willing to help, the ambiance of the store....and will definitely be back...both for the menu at the cafe and the groceries/prices........now having a tea party with GGD with walnut caramel muffins we bought there...yummy!

Sounds really fun, would I be correct in guessing you are located in the northern suburbs of Chicago? Would love to see this in our suburbs

    Judy in Phoenix, AZ

Wow! As much time spent in the grocery store, this sounds like a more pleasurable trip---wish there was one in this area.

Nothing like that around here. I'd patronize it.

Sounds like you enjoyed the time, and will go back. Glad you found a new place to experience!
