Practically the result is similar to what you get if you do this:

However, since the Juki FMQ foot is a bit different you can't do exactly like in the video. Since the foot is all metal I didn't open the "toe" at all. And since there is a screw on top of the foot you can actually remove the "lever that moves with the needle rod" all together. And then I just wrapped a rubber band on top to keep the foot at the right height. I'll get a picture if you'd like.
