Mine break off all the time so are short. Does anyone know what can be used to make them stronger. The Sally Hanson products does not work for me.

When I first got them, they were to long & I couldn't do anything. When I went back to have them done again, I had her cut them down some. I have learned to have them a little shorter, but longer than what I can grew, & I am happy. When people ask me if they are my nails, I answer, "yest, & I pay dearly for them!"

I have long nails . But seems like everytime they are all long and the same length there's a baby I have to run my finger down their throat to see what their chocking on. .baby's and long nails don't mix.then i cut them all off again .but i feel naked when they are short. :)

I've had either gel or acrylic nails for 25 years. My own are very soft and split or peel easily. The only things I have a problem with these days are picking up coins I've dropped or dialing my iphone. And, of course, I can't play the violin anymore. But I can quilt!!!

That is what I did, worked for me.

i've had 'improved' nails for years. my own are so soft they bend over the ends of my fingers. my lady does a glue and powder thing to them. i keep them long enough to look nice and short enough to work with. you have to find your own comfort zone. i also have to have the cuticle end filled in every 3-4 weeks (i'm supposed to do it every 2 weeks - too pricey). dh loves the way they look and he picks the nail color.

At my local Herb Shop I was told if your nails are weak you need either zinc or magnesium. I added both and my nails are getting harder and stronger.
