Kellen 46, you are too funny. I, on the other hand, spent my "day the world came to an end" eating everything I do not allow myself to eat. I started at midnight and ended at the next midnight. I did not really believe the dasterly thing would take place, but I ate chocolate, chips, a cake and a bag of Mrs. Fields cookies just in case.

Very funny story. Yeah I was waiting too. Nothing happened woke up to the same crazies in the world. LOL The thing I find really funny is if the world really does end , do they really thing a bunker is going to do anything. They watch too many movies and need to get some sense.

I wasn't going to be able to go either. (A) to much stash (B) I had 2 rooms tore up for extensive cleaning and re-arranging (C) my tub still needed caulked (D) I have all the holiday baking yet to do (E) all 3 dogs need baths (F)I still have not found my lost house/car keys. I just could not go til the mystery of the keys is solved and all my chores were done and I got a nice long soak in a hot bubble bath and to date only B and C are done, and I've only been able to get quick showers.Seriously this is just a bad time of year we all have to much to do to start worrying about what to pack

folks need to figure out that those doomsday preppers are paid to do the junk. Besides, if the end is coming at any time soon, where do they think they will be going???? The end would be the end.....Period....LOL

I have always been interested in the world of archaeology, so decided I'd check out this prediction. By the time I was done reading, I figured it would have already happened. The Mayans have a base 20 numbering system instead of a base 10. They have a 25 day month and 365 day year. If you figure out the actual year is 365.25 and they had no system for the partial day, it doesn't take much time to figure out that all those leap years that should have happened would already have made the"prediction" a thing of the past.
Then I read about the actual translation of the blocks -- according to an expert, the blocks were a story about two very important kings. Those kings were so great and powerful that in our year of 2012, they would still be remembered. Not that that was the end of all things and the world.
Not sure where folks get these half-cracked theories, but sure does make one wonder!
