Great Idea ....I like so many have extra Christmas fabrics.... Last year I made Christmas Stocking that were shipped to our troops with small personel items inside .. this was a parish project and a good amount of stockings were donated.

That is a great idea I should do the same thing - I pretty much always use the Christmas bags I can go to the dollar store and get all different sizes its so much easier. However for the grand kids I love to get Santa wrapping paper for the presents from Santa but one roll of it will last me 2 or 3 years

This is one way to save a little $ on wrapping paper. I once read to wrap presents for kids, save the Sunday "funny papers" and wrap the presents with them. A piece of large fat yarn tied in a bow can be used for the ribbon.

I have done that for years and also for birthday gifts for friends using "party" looking fabric. I tell them if they do not think they will reuse the bag I will be happy to take it back. So far no one has given them back and I have seen them used for other gifts at parties. A friend of mine always makes fabric wine bottle bags for the gift of wine she gives.
