I missed whatever someone found offensive, but this blonde wouldn't be bothered one way or another. I switched from red to blonde when I reached my 50's because I thought I looked like a wrinkled old carrot. Not sure what I look like now, but I'm having fun as a blonde.

    Don't worry about it!

I wouldn't worry about it. Most people have something to laugh about if they are honest. I'm from WV and trust me I get alot from that one. I have 3 blonde kids and 2 brunetts. My blonde daughter was always on the highest honor rolls and would do some of the dumbest things. I used to tell her there wasn't enough hair dye in VA to help her blonde roots. I also used to call her Ms Hoover; I told her she had her own little wind tunnel in there. She's 22 and has no problems laughing at the things she does. Last night she went to make rice (she has to use a rice cooker or it doesn't even look like rice) and I went in to check it since it had changed to the warm setting. I asked her what did she do and she started laughing and said just leave it up to me to screw up cooking rice even w/a cooker; she didn't put enough water in it; then she went in and told everyone else what she did. All of my kids had to learn at an early age to laugh at things that were really kind of funny; no matter who did them.

Wow. There is just no way I can take myself THAT seriously.

One of the best (and raunchiest, so I won't tell it here) jokes I ever heard about attorneys was told to me by an attorney. He thought it was hysterical. People who can joke about themselves are admired and adored by others.

I guess that means you can't say you've had a "senior moment" because that would be offensive to seniors. And you can't say you had a brain fart because brains would be offended. Or maybe the farts would be offended - I don't know.

I pay good money to stay "blonde" and have no problem with blonde jokes. When I was younger, I had it lightened to stay blonde and now that I am older, I have it darkened to stay blonde...lol!!

I'm a senior blonde (and Polish). Believe me--I've heard them all and never take offense. Lighten up (go blonde?) and get a sense of humor.
