My daughter, a natural blonde, would dye her hair brown in high school because she got teased. She's 37 now, and admits she is truly a blonde, both in mind and real life.

My dad grew up in Chicago and everybody had a nickname - mostly based on parents' nationality. Mic, Pole, Swede, Svenski, Wop. I think they were easier to remember/pronounce than the given names.

no apologies needed --nothing to worry about my long bff always tease each other about our blonde momemts. we both are natural blondes and have known each other since 12 years old so there has been quite a few. The last time we were together in ca, for exanple we went to the movies and thought gee this is a long preview to find out we bought tickets for the wrong movie.and on top of that it was one we really didn't understand even. I won't say which one then I will really feel like a dunce lol. we also send a lot of jokes to each other, even though now we can claim those moments for senior moments as well. lol --at least as far as the DHs go we have all the bases covered lol
