I had to tie mine to my sewing cabinet so that they won't get "borrowed".

I write FABRIC on my fabric scissors just so I make sure I know what scissors are for what.

Those are our babies. We know how to caress them to keep them at their optimal readiness. God help anyone who invades my space, inc. my scissors.

You don't know how many times I have wanted to do this. I think Fons & Porter sell something like this to protect there scissors. I had a brand new pair of needle nose pliers that I use when machine quilting to catch the bobbin thread. Well DH & DS were going fishing & he couldn't find his so he saw mine in my canister & took them. DS said mama is gonna kill you. To say the least when I couldn't find them I went straight to store & got a new pair that didn't have fish lips & guts on them. He brought them back & I told him to keep them & not to ever touch my stuff again. I hid my good scissors too.
