The very day I saw my formerly beloved DS digging for fishing worms in packed dirt with MY SEWING scissors was the last time I left them out. After that they lived in a locked file drawer when I wasn't around to protect them. And DS got his ears verbally pinned back!!

This post is a God-Send! My husband and I share space. I quilt on one side, he computers (very nearby) on the other side. I love this idea! I've already set the "Don't Touch" law down, but the "criminal activity" continues! I've seen Pink locks at Tuesday Morning, and now, I must have two of them. As for the keys? Well, I've got a black magnetic key hider box, and when I attach it to the inside top of my black metal fabric locker, it disappears!!! Ha Ha...no more theft in my Kingdom!

I learned growing up that Mom's stuff was always off limits (including her sewing stuff) but she also put them away when she left a project for the evening. (Protection from Dad using them?)
I have several pairs of "other" scissors all over the place; Kitchen drawer, office desk, garage, making them easy to find.
I use my sewing scissors and put them back in the sewing basket, under the drawer where they are very hard to find.
