He looks like he is coming up with a plan to get over or around that gate somehow. He doesn't look too pitiful to me. He looks like he is in a think tank mood!

Bless his heart! He looks sooo sad. We just had to have our 19 yo kitty put to sleep. It seems so strange not to have the baby gate up anymore. She had her own room (LOL) and we had the gate up to keep the dogs out. They look in the door for her, but won't go in.

But Mom I promise I won't chase anything, I promise (claws crossed)... LOL they are so expressive !!
I would love to get a kitty, but my avatar thinks they are tasty little creatures to chase and grab them by the tail .... as they run away howling and she comes back dancing with a mouth full of kitty fur .. LOL

He is such a love. He promises to not chase the kitties...too much. Just like my German Shepherd who only chases them under my bed at 3 am in the morning.

We have one of our four kitties, Lily Pie (my avatar), who will interact with Cooper. She is always wet! He loves to herd her (as is his nature) and she will roll over and let him nibble on her belly! If she is on the arm of the couch and he walks by, she will reach a paw out and swat at him, enticing him to play. The other three stay behind the gate but often come out just to see what is going on in the rest of the house.

Awe, they can look so pitiful! I hate that commercial where all the animals look so pitiful, and they're playing this sad music, asking for donations. I have to leave the room or I'll start crying!
