Thanks so much for all the info on them, I want one and was wondering also which one to buy. You all have been most helpful. I'm on this site everyday but never say anything, I enjoy so much of your posts and pictures. I'm in florida taking care of my sick 94 yr old Mom and have really found this board enjoyable. Thanks again!LyndaZ

I just bought a Kindle and I got a good price on it. I live overseas and I can use a wireless connection to buy books and have them be charged on my U.S. account. So if you travel with a Kindle, you can still shop for reading material.

My Nook was a Christmas present, the first year they were out. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for one of the new, color, ones. Yes, you need a light to read at night but the battery actually works for weeks without a recharge!

I am getting my youngest DD a color Nook for Christmas. She is 16 and loves what the Nook offers. We have a B&N membership and received a $25 coupon off the purchase of a color Nook, so that will help. Along with getting free shipping.
I am thinking of getting myself the Wi-Fi 3G Kindle or maybe the Kindle Fire. I am still wavering as to get one or not.

My husband and I each have a Kindle but then he saw the new Kindle Fire that is coming out next month that is more of a touch screen. He ordered them for us for early Christmas gifts. Check it out on line before you make your final decision.

I have a nook..I don't know if there is that much diff between them, at least the older models. My hubby and kids got me a Ipad for my bday, now I have both the kindle and nook on here, but I like my nook because of battery life.

i was just reading on amazon about them, one person says they ask you to ship your kindle back to them to have the battery replaced. they actually send you a refurbished one, not your's in return. not liking that.
