Ugh. People can be awful.

I hate the fact that there's no peephole on our front door. There's a large window next to the door, but there's no way to be discreet when I'm trying to see who's there.

At least with flowers, the only person who would bring me flowers is my fiance and he can bring them in himself. ;)

I keep the doors locked, I have a big greenhouse window I can look out to see who is at the door.

Peepholes are extremely easy to install and are less than 20$ at the home stores.

Here not to far away, guys have been knocking on doors and when no one answers kicking them in and robbing the house. Since I wont open the door hubby has made it clear the 9mm sits on my desk and the dogs are always with me.

Between the 150 lb great dane and the gun they wont stand a chance getting in.

One thing you could have at each door way, is a can of WASP spray. I took mine out doors and found that it will spray a long way off...and I'm told that it's extremely painful and someone would have to go to the hospital to get their eyes washed out after being sprayed.
