Grandson's dc is closing at noon today for graduations (lol) and daughter couldn't get time off work so I took a vaca day to stay home with him. They live here so I see him tons anyway, but sometimes I feel like I'm going back in time to when time for me is limited. Anyway, wouldn't change this time with him for the world as they won't be living here forever (crossing fingers :)) but...

So, I'm having furniture delivered this morning - after 19 years with the same living room I bought a new couch and 2 loveseats over mem weekend, on sale. YAY! Then we'll take a trip to the grocery store.

When my kids were little they used to love to sit on my lap when I was sewing and push the fabric along, but he just wants to grab everything and shove it in his mouth!

Here they are at his baptism a few weeks ago.

What a cutie!! Enjoy your time with him. I lived out-of-state away from family and its precious time.

Oh, I'd love to have that cutie for a day. I bet he giggles a lot. The sewing will wait.

I will, I'm sure! It's quite the challenge to remember how to get things done with a little guy, but as I get older I find that I don't care so much about the housework!

Prvbs - I cross stitched that proverb from a LA leaflet. I'll have to take a pic and post.

Jennie - he does, for sure! He's such a happy boy and loves to cuddle, until he sees something and thinks he can fly out of my arms over to it! lol He loves to be busy so entertaining him takes strategy!

He's gorgeous - enjoy your day with him. They grow up far too quickly.

I watched my great nephew one day this week for my neice. I just love him to pieces and he is very very good but I couldnt get a thing done while he was here. He is 11 months old and into everything right now, my house is not baby proofed so it was a challenge. I often wonder how I got done what I did when mine were small and I worked.

I hope you had a great time with him , he's beautiful.
