Default Not a Quilt but Still Proud of myself

I have always said I am a quilter not a sewer. Well I finally found a fairly simple skirt pattern to make one for my daughter Izabella. It is not perfect but she loves it and the Shirt I made to go with it. I will be making her some more as I find it is more cost effective and the skirt doesn't end at the bottom of her butt like the ones in the stores do!
    Thanks for looking!
    Hugs

Very nice! Now you will have to save all of your scraps and then someday you can make her a quilt to take with her to college with bits and pieces of all of the clothes that you made her over the years.

Little girl's clothes are so fun to make, but beware. She will now look at all fabric stores as potential clothes. You will be surprised at all the things she finds in them for you to make.

wow, she certainly is growing. She looks so happy and healthy.........Good job Mom and Dad!!

I plan on making a couple of those skirts for the grand daughters. They can only wear them to church or after school and on weekends. The school they go to is uniforms only.

Teach her to sew, I did with my oldest daughter. Now she is an accomplished seamstress and owns her own business.

Cu little girl - cute outfit! It's so much to make things when the person that they were for likes/loves them!
