    It looks as though this lady understands the art. Her colors are truely perfect. Not to mention wow what a talented woman with a needle!

    That looks like a mix of tatting which my DGM use to do and crewel embroidery which my DM use to do. Very cool handiwork indeed. Am curious what type of project these embroidery designs are meant for.

    Yes, all her work is done by hand. She sews for no other reason than that she loves it. She seldom gives away any pieces and this collection come from a book of samples!!!

    She does not tat. So the leaves and petals you see are needlewoven.
    As I say, when i was a teenager I would visit her most evenings with my sewing bag and we would sit and stitch together.

    Love the beadwork, but that sure will make it difficult to quilt! It will be so worth it in the end. Great job!
