    Thank you so much for your kind comments. It is nice to have little girls to sew for again!! I used to love sewing for my daughter when she was small and didn't realise I had missed it until I began making these. It was fun altering the pattern to utilise different fabrics and ribbons etc. although I did get a little tired of the applique cats faces for the hats, scarves and gloves, lol. All I am hoping now is that the pattern sizes are right and they do fit!! Not used to sewing without having the recipient close at hand and trying on to fit, but it was fun. :)

    Hmmm.. I just added the ruffles on to a trouser pattern which I cut shorter. Closest I can think of a name for them would be pantaloons?
