Isn't it amazing how a new life brings everyone together in a circle of unity? She is just precious. Your work is just so pristine. Enjoy the big celebration.

I have heard of people reusing their wedding dresses, but never knew how. Yours is wonderful.

I can't think of any new words, they all been used..............it is very pretty and you all should be proud as a family to do this.
I am sure she will look pretty as a picture.......and it can be saved for her own little one .

    What a beautiful idea!
My niece didn't want to wear her mother's dress, so we remodeled (adding bright underfabric) into mother-of the bride dress!

That is lovely - the sentiment and the work. This gown will be much easier to pass along than a wedding dress. Styles for christening/baptism gowns don't change, where wedding dresses change from year to year. And I love that everyone has played a part in its creation.
