What a wonderful quilt, Gayle. That's quite a deadline you have. Did you schedule any sleep for yourself?

Congratulations Countrymaid. Keep up the good work You will be in wonderland before you know it. Gayle that is quite a schedule you have. Good luck getting all of that finished by the 12th. I have my baby quilt finished. I think this is a record for me. I don't even need it finished until the 24th. I do want to show it off at guild on the 12th. Usually I am frantically sewing the binding later the night before I need it. I also would like to at least have the top finished for my sons tetris quilt finished to show off at guild. The blocks are made. I was squaring them up and got tired of it so I quit before I messed it up. I still need to cut the black fabric and figure out my layout.
I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise. I have been making myself either do 10 squats or 10 pushups every time i get up from my machine to iron or go to the bathroom. Not much but better than nothing. I can tell how lazy I have been as my knee is starting to bother me. I really need to keep it strong. I am NOT ready for a replacement.

Anyone up for some planking? I know, they are tough. Within a month we should be able to go for 3 minutes! I started yesterday. You should have seen how much I was shaking....or maybe there was an earthquake. LOL

Have at it, Pam. My feet have had too many surgery to put my weight on them like that and I can't think of any good modifications. If you can strengthen your core, you burn so many more calories at all times so it's worth a try.

Planking....sounds like a major challenge. I am going to have to find something to use for this as my floors are nothing but concrete. Need to get a runner to use.

IrishRose and I are alike - I've had too many surgeries on my feet to do that. I even have trouble still sometimes when walking, I'll try to bend the big toe - it doesn't anymore - and it sure lets me know about that. Let us know if it all works. I'll do some other exercises with you though, just not that one.

Sorry there are some who can't try this. There are probably a few more who just don't want to. I'm just glad there are a few willing to do this with me.

I'm not going to try (have tried in the past) My elbow is not a happy camper and I am trying not to piss it off too much.
