We did planks in bootcamp. I worked up to 1 minute. I think I will try this. You can do the planks on your knees. I started doing them that way, they are easier. You can also work your way up to straight arms too. Some people in my class also did side planks.
Gayle I really like that quilt. What pattern is that???

Gayle your quilt is beautiful. I have often read about a quilt having movement, but couldn't see it. When I looked at your quilt that is the first thing I thought. Well, maybe the second thing after drooling over the yummy fabrics!

I am up for the planking challenge. A friend had recommended them to me a while ago, but I guess I needed a kick in the rear to get started. I might need some help to get up off the floor though lol. I am thinking one of the foam pads we use for camping will cushion the floor enough.

Where can I find the address to send in my fq? And can I send in more than one month at a time? I know this month is blues/whites. Do we know what other month colors are going to be? (sorry - I'm kinda new to this)

You need to pm createfourpaws and she will give you her address. The fabric for December is batiks. Tell us about your music, Jan.

You send me a PM (private message) for the address. Yes you can send in Nov and Dec, Dec theme is batiks. At the beginning of each quarter I announce the 3 months, several ladies like to send them in quarterly to save on postage. Some but not required send a dollar or 2 to help with return postage. I appreciate any that is sent but I do not require this.

In December I will let everyone know what the themes will be for the upcoming quarter.

You are still required to sign up each month on the new thread even if you sent a FQ for that month. If you don't sign up, your FQ will just be added to the pot as a bonus for the winner.

Cindy, I sent two FQs today. (blue and white for Nov and batik for Dec) Thanks! Glad you're through your mom's surgery and hope her recovery is going well.

It was just olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, freshly ground black pepper, and salt. It was too plain for us, I'm going to try some spices to add to it. I plan on making something for tonight's dinner, if it turns out better I'll post the ingredients.
