    Looking through my bag of older bias tape I found this cute little opened pack of red rick rack.... wow... what a guarantee they offered.

    Isn't that something? I love the vintage notions for this kind of thing - and like Tartan said, from a time when people stood behind their products. Sweet nostalgia.

    I had sticker shock when I went shopping for dress patterns for my DD. I have patterns that I paid $.99 or $1.99. $10.00 was considered exorbitant for a pattern and now they go for $20 or more. I wonder how much you paid for that pack of rick rack?

    It was gifted to me, so I have no idea the age or price. Although some of the unopened bias tape from a company called belding III has $.80 or 2 for $1.49 on it, and also made in Canada
