    I haven't done house work in years. Luckily, I have a hubby who helps a great deal, plus he doesn't make messes! He runs the vacuum, dusts, mops, does dishes, washes clothes, and even cooks breakfast every day and dinner every other night. No, he doesn't have a brother. No, I will not share him. No, I am not willing to clone him either! He is absolutely perfect, down to looking for quilt shops when we travel and giving my an credit card with a huge limit!

    Wow, my DH of 40 yrs. believes that 60 hrs. of work/week and caring for yard(4 acres) is all he is required to do.Apparently, his hand doesn"t fit in the dishwasher, & clothes fromm the dryer are dumped on the sofa. Still, he will eat leftovers until tey are gone.So, +4 and -2 = +2! A winner!

    I, too, wonder how people get so much sewing/quilting done.
    My house isn't spotless. My husband empties the dishwasher &
    occasionally vacuums the floors. He has a hobby that occupies his time. I can't believe that husbands actually do all this house work. I really like seeing the pics........don't stop sending them.

    I haven't seen my love seat in a month. Pretty sure it's there, though. Something's holding all that stuff up. I sure hope it ain't the floor!!!

    OK, after work, DH usually makes supper, and he hates when I go with him to grocery store (spend too much money) and he does the laundry (except for my fabric washings). I have 14 year old daughter who's chores are kitchen and dining room for her $10 week. She is now sharing it with her step sister. I clean every Saturday and spend the evenings quilting.

    I quilt for my sanity, not for speed. I do mousework when it bugs me, lol. Like a clean house, but don't like to clean. Hubby likes clean, but refuses to help. Guess, like alot of men, he was born without that gene, lol. So, I do what please me, & if I am not in the mood, well, it can wait till I am, or when I feel like it. I clean for company, which seldoms comes to stay, & it's funny, DH will help then, like it matters, right! Housework, to me, is a big waste of time, & a losing battle, as it right there again soon, to do all over, with nothing to show for it when you are done, & in my case, a husband who doesn't notice anyway... So glad I started quilting, or I would have went crazy staying home by now!...
