Gosh, I would think November and December would be the most important months. My goal is to drop 7 each month. Reading this site, helps me keep focused.

I do check in now &then,but losing so sloooow,can't be of any help to anyone. have a check up today & will ask what he thinks.Don't expect any help there.

plainpat-- checking in means we can support and encourage you, just as much as we support others. when we aren't losing- like this whole month for me, we need that support the most. i've had way too many issues this month to focus on weight loss. my mother has slipped into full blown alzheimers and is now uintelligible and refusing meds and food. she will be allowed to starve to death as that has been her wish. they will make her comfortable and will continue to offer food. so...it is no wonder to me that i am eating for both of us. i wish her a speedy resolution. she has wanted to join my dad and siblings for far too long.

I noticed that our weight loss ticker isn't showing on the threads anymore. I'm not sure if this permanent.

We have a winner!!

Createfourpaws (Cindy) lost 20 pounds this month!
What a fantastic loss, everyone PM Cindy to get her snail mail address for her reward!
This month's skinny quarter (still 18x22) should be in blue/white or a variation of white on white.

Whew I sure had a lot of pages to catch up on! I started the month out great losing nearly 10 pounds, but gained six of them back. But at least that is a loss.
