Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I will look at them. My good friend, Sandy, asked if she could sew the binding to give her something to do in the evening. So she's going to finish that one for me.
DH and I and our daughter and grand daughter are driving down to Orange County to see my mom and DH's mom. My mom is pretty lonely in the house. She has a couple of errands she wants me to run with her.
I did get my FQ's out in the mail yesterday. I am so sorry they are so late. I will not be winning them this month

Meanmom: thanks again. I had printed out the instructions from the tutorial I found (above) and just wrote your cutting measurements on it so I'll have that when I give it a try. You can a lot don't you (i.e. vegetables, jellies, etc)? My directions tell me to keep the sterilized jars warm until I fill them. How do you do that? I've tried keeping them in a warm oven in a roaster pan with a little bit of water (not in the jars but in the bottom of the roaster pan) but the jars tend to fall over.

Yea! I had been working hard to lose (45 lbs so far!) but kinda got caught up in my crazy life and haven't been sticking to what works for me. I decided to get back to everything, starting tomorrow! I can't think of a better weight loss incentive than fabric! =D

Good Monday Morning! Been busy with quilting. Did a table topper, a raffle quilt, and a custom nautical quilt. They all turned out great. Now to get hubby back on track. He is a bit miffed I spent all my time quilting this weekend and not much for him. yep I am in the cat/dog house. Will see what I can do to make it up. He was so sweet this weekend also. The doc put him on some new meds and they seem to be helping when he takes it. he just started them and within 20 minutes after he takes it his pain subsides. I like this. He even is laughing a bit again when I am around him. The daughter did not get Lilac Princess, but she is getting over it. Oh well I suppose. Something better must be around the corner. Her health is getting better and the ribs are still displaced, but she is in less pain. Wow, you ladies are awesome on your praying. Thank you all.
No, I have not lost any wieght. Haven't gained so still on the plus side this month.
